THE BATTLE RAGES ON!
The Battle for Macragge is, of course, ideally
suited to newcomers to Warhammer 40,000 but many experienced gamers
are enjoying it too. The superbly detailed, yet easy to assemble
miniatures, great scenery and handy, pocket-sized rulebook are all
good examples of why the boxed set has been so popular across all
levels of the Games Workshop hobby.
The Battle Rages On! booklet, largely made up
from our online material here at www.macragge.com,
is a great stepping-stone from the Battle for Macragge boxed game
further into the exciting world of table-top battle games. Building
on the knowledge you have gained from the boxed games by working
your way through this booklet you will add to your gaming, painting
and modelling skills. Once you feel you have mastered these further
stages there are a host of other ways to delve into the Games Workshop
hobby even deeper!
'The Battle Rages On!' booklet, now available
to buy from the Online
Store, is a convenient way to own the mass of material available
to download and print out from this the official website.

| Our special Beginners' programme teaches you how to play and helps you take your first steps into the Games Workshop hobby. The programme runs throughout Sundays, so whether you want to learn how to charge your Knights into your opponent's battle line or lead a squad of Space Marines into battle, all you need to do is come along! |
Games Workshop Hobby Centres provide support and expert advice on all aspects of the hobby. They feature team participation battles for you to take part in, painting workshops to develop your painting skills, and a forum for gamers to talk about the hobby. On Sunday evenings many stores run specific activities for those who have graduated from the Beginners' Programme. |
A growing number of our Hobby Centres now have additional space to the normal shop floor in the shape of Gaming Rooms. This makes it perfect for meeting fellow hobbyists and arranging larger games, playing campaigns or just modelling and painting. On Monday to Friday these rooms are reserved for veterans over the age of 16. Give your local store a ring for details and find out much more about them here! |
To find your nearest Games Workshop Hobby Centre see our Store Finder or ring 08700 400005 to get through to your nearest store.
